The pharmaceutical industry has been utilizing the same tablet counting technology for years...until now. BSI recently partnered with Diamond Machine Werks, Inc. to introduce a patented dual view optical tablet counting system which includes a high resolution in-flight tablet scan to create a 3-D image that analyzes tablet volume and accuracy. It can distinguish between a complete and a partial tablet, provide totalization data to include counts of complete and partial tablets, and has the ability to reject or tag batches containing partial tablets.
